Beetle Drive UK are very proud to present Big Ron! our New Beetle Limousine. The only one currently in the country. He was imported in 2003 from New Jersey USA and we believe he is 1 of about 5 ever made in the world. He has a 1.8L turbo engine and seating for up to 6 passengers*.

Leanne & Dave were the first couple to travel in Big Ron since his new look on 30th March 2007 to Priston Mill in Bath.

Big Ron is the biggest head turning Bug you will see, he has caused people to walk into lamp posts and fall off the kerb!! I shouldn't mention the 4 car pile up on the other side of the road in London!! OOPS!

These were Yvonnes dream cars, Big Ron teamed up with Newby for a wedding in Heartfordshire on 20th August 2006.

This is the first wedding we attended with Big Ron. Scott and his party were driven in style to Friern Manor Hotel  on 9th April 2005.

My Birthday and working again! December 05 a freezing cold day in Coventry we took Ruth and Jonathan to their wedding in style in a toasty warm limo.

The inside of the limo has all the usual limousine features. It has a bar, Champagne coolers, Mirrored ceiling with twinkly lights, A privacy screen with a VW Beetle cut into the glass with lights, the neon bar changes colour. It has a flat screen TV and DVD system and a CD stereo system, air con and privacy glass.

* Big Ron can cater for up to 6 passengers, however this depends on the size of the person, ideally 4 is comfortable. If you have a wedding dress that you do not wish to get squashed, we don't reccomend 6 passengers. We are happy where possible to do a bridesmaids run for example to the ceremony first then return for the bride. This would depend on the distance and time to get there and back. If you have children to travel and they are required by law to have a child seat, they must use one in the car as it is a planned journey. You will need to provide this and also fit it to ensure that it is safe. Full child seats reduce seat space so only 2 passengers would be able to fit on a seat. See FAQ's for more information.

VW Beetle limousines are restricted to a maximum 35 onward miles from your first collection.

Emma and Scott enjoy some time together after their ceremony for a ride out in Big Ron with their Champagne. Emma and Scott have their own Blue New Beetle so BR was the obvious choice of wedding transport.

This is the wedding of Mel & Mark in Twickenham. Mel was determined to have this limo for her wedding even before Big Ron came to our fleet. Mel owns a New Beetle Cabriolet and has loved Beetles as long as she can remember, a girl after my own heart!

Coloured ribbon really stands out on a white car and will show up well in your photos, white ribbons blend in with the paint work so you can't see them so well. Perhaps pick out a colour from your wedding theme and we'll do our best to match it for you.

I think he looks a bit like a 'push me pull you' or perhaps a caterpillar!

PLEASE TAKE NOTE : Big Ron is unsuitable for roads with high speed bumps or hump back bridges, fords also some cattle grids and uneven ground at venues can create problems with grounding! please check your route as we will need to find ways around these obstacles. Maximum distance we will travel in Big Ron is 80 Miles from our base (fastest route on Auto route and maximum 1:30 hours driving time) from base as from August 2010.
