When you email us with your enquiry, please give us as much detailed information as you can. At this stage your enquiry is just that, and we do not act upon any information at this stage - apart from accurately costing your requirements.  But we do like to get everything right, so we may need to ask you any specific questions to ensure everything happens to plan.  We also want to give you a realistic cost so we need to calculate mileages, routes (especially important for our limousines being used in locations out of our normal area in order to avoid hump back bridges and obstacles etc. If you know of any please advise us along with high speed humps),  calculate fuel usage, times, and we of course have to consider Drivers Hours Regulations so the start, finish and break times during the work are particularly relevant on longer distances- all this needs to be thought about when we give you a response which you can trust, and which you know has been put together with your circumstances in mind.

Please give us the following information - it helps us to get costing and details worked out accurately for you without having to get back to you for more information. 

Date of your eventChoice of car/s number of passengers, will child seats be required?  What you plan for the vehicle to do during your hire ie: grooms trip, bridesmaids to ceremony first, please include all planned stops with times if you have this information.
Wedding or Civil Partnership transport, we require collection point, ceremony location and time, reception location , this is essential information to enable us to quote. For civil weddings /partnerships the bride / partners  will be required 15 minutes prior to the ceremony to see the registrar.
Include postcodes if you have them this is very helpful.

The above information is needed for us to cost and plan mileage, drivers hours, fuel usage, etc. Any other information you have which may help us. If you plan to stop at or visit a cemetery or nursing home or go to local gardens to take some additional photographs etc.


Remember at this stage there is no obligation. We will then send to you an Email of availability and cost based on your information, or each vehicle available at the time, and give you information on how to make a booking.  

If you decide to go ahead with your plans, you return a copy of the booking form, along with a vehicle holding deposit, and then when your booking is accepted, your chosen vehicle is held against your booking date and we will write to you with a confirmation letter, our booking system works on a first come first served basis and bookings are only taken with a holding deposit, this makes it a fair, straightforward, easy, and fail-safe system.

Onward miles after your first collection may be restricted depending on your choice of car. Herbie, Pepi & Milo have a maximum of 20 onward miles from your first collection VW buses and cabriolets a maximum of 25 onward miles and the 6 seater VW Limousines a maximum of 35 onward miles.

We are often asked to use our larger cars / buses to shuttle guests from Church to reception etc. where possible we may provide two runs from church if the distance is very local otherwise I'm sorry we can not provide this type of hire. Wedding hire is for the immediate wedding party (grooms party, bridal party and parents) otherwise you will require a licensed taxi service. When asking for more than one trip to church / reception please remember the time it will take the car to do this as you will need to add the return journey time, example if it is 15 minutes to the church and you require 2 trips the first party of passengers must leave around an hour prior to the ceremony time to allow for traffic and getting into and out of the car and photo's etc. Where a registrar is taking the service you must allow arrival 15 minutes prior to the ceremony time. If you are late they are entitled to refuse to marry you! Wedding car hire is only available on the day of the actual wedding otherwise your  hire becomes private hire for which you have to be a licensed (taxi) vehicle.

I'm sorry we are not available for any other special occasions hire such as proms, birthdays etc. we can provide hire for weddings and funerals only and static promotional hire.

Please note some of our cars are limited to less miles due to their age, we will travel considerably less miles (Local area only) during the winter months Nov - April where weather allows.
