Meet 'Milo' he is a rather special 1963 stretched Beetle limousine. He started his life being manufactured at the VW factory in Belgium as a CKD car (completley knocked down) shipped abroad before assembly by the local workforce in Indonesia. He was a standard saloon car at this point. He lived his life in Indonesia and had a few but not many owners, he was eventually stretched and had some 'unique' modifications. He arrived in sunny Great Britain at the beginning of 2009 but required extensive work to be carried out before being able to go onto UK roads which unfortunately we didn't expect on his arrival. But months of hard graft have produced this amazing car just recognised by judges at the British Volkswagen Festival and credited with his first award. Credit goes to our resto team for the dedication to the project and the late nights.  

Milo debuted at his first show at Stanford Hall 3rd May 2009. He was a star attraction and was very well received by the crowds. 

 Aside from all the mechanical changes to the car  we have added added a rather tasty set of EMPI 5 spoke chrome wheels to go with all the chrome fitted to him. We have also added the usual Beetle Drive styling to Milo, to give him his personality.

Milo attracted more attention at the Classic Motor Show at the NEC 2009 than most of the other cars there, the cameras were aimed at him constantly for the 3 days of this massive show.

Milo was greatly admired at his first wedding in Bromsgrove 25th July 09

Milo is ivory in colour and has an amazing burgundy interior so would be good match for our classic cabriolet Beetle 'Demis' or saloon Beetles Pepi and Herbie.

THIS CAR IS LIMITED TO LOCAL WEDDINGS ONLY - Milo is available for weddings  1 April -1 November up to a maximum 40 miles from our base to include all onward travel. HE IS UNSUITABLE FOR POOR WEATHER CONDITIONS.

This limo has a very nice unusual feature, the rear window is the 1950's style rear oval window.

The rear styling is of the early 1950's Beetles.

I'M SORRY MILO IS NOT SUITABLE FOR WINTER WEDDINGS. THE ROAD SALT IS VERY BAD FOR HIS COMPLEXION, HIS DOESN'T HAVE HEATING SO WE CAN NOT CLEAR THE GLASS ADEQUATELY FOR SAFE TRAVELLING. Very sorry this car is not available for weddings Nov - march.

This limo has a rather luscious interior designed to seat 2 passengers in luxury, he is equipped with a hide away TFT television and an awesome stereo system that could easily blow the glass out if turned up to high! He has lighting in the glass 'VIP' floor and cabinets with lighting also in the roof. Oh yes and a champagne bucket containing flowers on this photo. The speaker boxes and parcel shelf have embossed VW logos too.

This Beetle also has electric windows and electronic automatic rear doors! There are no seat belts fitted in this car due to the age so very young children can not travel I'm afraid.

PLEASE NOTE : This limo is limited to LOCAL WEDDINGS ONLY maximum 40 miles from our base (CV9 2PH) including all onward travel. This car is not suitable for bad weather so weddings Nov - March are not catered for.
