What you get for your money: Excellent condition vehicles, professional team of enthusiastic staff, ribbons, quality sparkling brut with a 'real' cork for bridal car and bubbly for 2nd/3rd car or alternative if preferred, a bottle of non alcoholic refreshment available in the cars. Umbrellas available, we have a back up system should there be a problem with your chosen car prior to the day, we have a selection of our other wedding vehicles on hand to supply so you are not going to be without a wedding car should a problem unfortunately arise on your day. The Beetle Drive team back at base have cars prepared and ready to send out in an emergency. Our cars will only do your wedding on the day and start out well before the time we need to be with you so should we have a problem on route we have the best chance of resolving it so that your day can run smoothly.

* Cars marked with one star are restricted to 65 miles maximum radius (including all events) from base and all cars are subject to less miles in the Winter months Nov-March.
** Beetle limousines travel a maximum 80 miles including all onward travel **2 Seater Milo is further limited to a maximum 40 miles radius from base.
Winter weddings during November to April are limited to up to 30 miles including all events from our base to reception address, not all cars are available during the winter as road salt destroys them.
Road toll and congestion charges are to be paid for by the customer. We reserve the right to change our prices on this web site at any time, quotations given are valid for up to 8 weeks.

NEW BEETLE CABRIOLETS GO TO WEDDING BUGS or BEETLE WEDDINGS FOR QUOTATIONS AND ENQUIRIES. We are not connected to either of these companies but are always very happy to work together with them.
A 25% non refundable deposit is required to secure vehicles for hire.
SEATING INFORMATION **please note that limos seat up to 6 people (excluding 2 seater 1963 limo 'Milo'), this depends on the size of the person and luggage can not always be catered for. Child seats also reduce seating space. We are not responsible if passengers can not be catered for please ask about seating space before booking to ensure cars are suitable for your requirements.
If a wedding dress needs to be catered for with a greater number of passengers you will require more space and 6 passengers is not reccomended in the limousines. Contact us for any advice regards seating. Child seats must be fitted if your child is of an age/size where they are required to by law. This also reduces passenger space in the vehicles. Some of the older vehicles are NOT equipped with rear seat belts. See FAQ's page for child seat information.
What the cost of hire includes:
Our prices are inclusive of Car, Chauffeur, Ribbons and a complimentary bottle of Champagne (or your preferred alternative) for bride and groom (bubbly for over 18's and non alcoholic flavoured water is supplied for 2nd/3rd car passengers) refreshment provided with each car for premium package and up to 4 hours hire from first collection (extra hours are chargable after fourth hour). For local hire charges as above price includes all events within 30 miles of our base, and up to 4 hours of hire from first collection.
Onward miles after your first collection may be restricted depending on your choice of car. Herbie & Pepi have a maximum of 20 onward miles from your first collection VW buses and cabriolets a maximum of 25 onward miles and the 6 seater VW Limousines a maximum of 35 onward miles.
Where you are out of our local area the price quoted to you will include the pre travelling distance and additional time from our base to your collection address.
The price you are quoted will be the price you pay*, we won't give you any nasty surprises for extras. However if you require more than 2 extra trips to the ceremony or have changes to your booking please would you let us know, if there is a sizable difference in miles we may need to increase the cost a little.
For any other combinations please ask for a quote, we give discounts if booking more than one vehicle.
Vehicle hire will be for up to 4 hours from first pick up point which should ensure plenty of time for journeys to and from church and on to the reception, and plenty of time for photographs! Our cars will only attend one wedding on the day.
Vehicle hire is quoted above for all events within a 30 mile radius of our office in Grendon CV9 2PH , any additional mileage please request a quote. (Mileage is worked out according to the fastest route on Auto Route) Maximum radius with our newer limos (Mark 1&2 and Big Ron) 80 miles & maximum 2 hours driving time via quickest route according to route planner. All cars subject to less miles during winter months Nov - April. Toll charges are the responsibility of the client where we have to use these routes.
Beetle Drive will be reasonably flexible with time as we ensure that your wedding is the only one your car(s) will attend on the day.
Should you require a vehicle for longer than the time allotted, extra hours are charged at £25 per hour in cash to the driver on the day.
While we always endeavour to supply your specific chosen vehicle on your day, should your choice of car not be available due to mechanical problems, break down, accident etc (as bookings are taken so far in advance we can't forsee issues at the time of booking) we always keep a selection of our cars back at base to ship out in an emergency. If we suspect a problem with your chosen vehicle we will not risk sending it to you. The director will make the final decision to keep our high standards maintained.
OUT OF OUR AREA BOOKINGS - PLEASE NOTE
We cover a large area , (however our older cars have a mileage restriction). This takes extra time and fuel and this is reflected in our price. Our driver's have to start out hours before arrival time to ensure that there are no delays, to ensure that we are not held up and everything runs according to plan. In an out of area wedding it may be necessary to guide your driver in your local area to avoid any delay as we can't rehearse these routes. Our limos can not use routes where there are severe hump back bridges, fords, high speed bumps some cattle grids etc as we risk grounding, please let us know if there are any on your route. We use GPS Navigation equipment to guide us through our route. Please be aware, in extreme weather conditions ie: deep snow, ice, thick fog, very high winds etc. we may decide that it is unsafe to travel, as the safety of our clients and our vehicles may be at risk. Read terms and conditions sent to you with your confirmation.
Bookings will only be taken on receipt of a non refundable 25% deposit and acceptance of our terms and conditions provided with your confirmation letter. If you do not accept our terms please advise immediately and we will refund your deposit within 14 days of receipt of your booking. Please include all the relevant details for your wedding, include the names of vehicle/s you wish to book and times, dates and address’s etc. You will receive a confirmation letter and a copy of our Terms and Conditions. You are welcome to view the vehicles, please call our office for an appointment. Please remember we are likely to be out at weddings at the weekends we are available by appointment week days and we may be available in the evenings.
Please note-Beetle Drive (UK) Ltd reserves the right to change prices on this web site without notice. *This is to cover unexpected extra costs to us such as more than a 2% increase in fuel charges. Beetle Drive will not however change prices quoted to clients unless your package has changed or you are adding extra trips or time, if you have an advance booking over 6 months and fuel costs heavily increase or road charging is in force, we may ask for a small charge to cover some of the cost. Week day discounts Mon -Thurs apply to local hire (30 mile radius) only unless specified by a director. Toll road and congestion charges will be paid by the hirer.
