I can't guarantee that he won't pull a wheelie or take you via a mountain edge but I can tell you that he 'goes bananas' when he's invited to a wedding!
Seat up to 2/3 passengers (no very young children.)

Our Herbie was born in 1963 which makes him the correct year for Herbie, he has a 'Rag Top' sunroof which is great for photos, you can stand up through the roof with your Champers.

Room for a little one!
He's the retro film star we all know and love.
Retro wedding car hire
Herbie dresses for the occasion
Herbie has chrome wheels and chunky racing tyres, and that all important beep beep horn. Spot Herbies lady friend in front but don't tell Pepi!! ♥
Herbie is out and about with his Big Stretched Bug brother Milo, if you want head turning on your day these are your boys.
Herbie is limited to a maximum 65 miles including all onward travel from our base. (not winter) * Herbie is not suitable for long onward journeys I'm afraid, maximum onward travel in Herbie is 20 miles from first collection address. Apart from his speed with passengers on board the driver has to drive quite close to the steering wheel to allow reasonable leg room behind the driver seat. Passenger seat is in the forward position and we seat the bride behind it to allow plenty of room for the wedding dress.
Perhaps you could hire 2 60's film stars together, Casper our Split Screen Bus is also 1963 and could cater for the bridesmaids or the Grooms party.

A sunny day out at Priory Park in Dudley
Herbie, Tony & John kidnap the registrar from Luton after their Civil Partnership ceremony May 31st 08
So if you have the 'Love Bug' and are looking for a qwerky little motor for your wedding 'Herbie's' your man! Russ the groom here is a fantastic magician so if you wanted entertaining on your wedding day check his web site out at www.russstokes.co.uk
*I'M SORRY HERBIE IS NOT SUITABLE FOR WINTER WEDDINGS AS THE ROAD SALT IS VERY BAD FOR HIS COMPLEXION, HIS LIGHTING AND HEATING ARE POOR BY TODAYS STANDARDS. HERBIE STILL USES 6 VOLT ELECTRICS (unlike todays 12volt cars) SO HIS HEADLAMPS ARE COMPARABLE TO CANDLES! Not available for weddings Nov - march
'Herbie' & his Mrs 'Pepi' attending a wedding together.

Herbie and Pepi (hiding in the background) both attended at this wedding, this is Michael and Donna Parnell's wedding in August 2006, Kilsby Northants.
Your guests will love him!
'53' the most famous racing Bug of them all will take you to your Wedding in true Love Bug style.
Our replica 'Herbie'. He made his show debut at Rockingham race course on 7th August 2005. He's at your service!
He took centre stage on the Beetle Drive stand and was probably the most photographed car in attendance at Thunder Sunday! Here he is with Herbie Junior!
HOW TO BOOK
Thanks again to Peter Sefton for this great bonnet shot of Herbie. Would make a nice wedding invitation perhaps?
About our wedding service
Here is the Herbie line up at 06 Stanford Hall show. See if you can spot our Herbie in this line up. Hint our Herbie now has brand new chrome wheels!
As with Mark, Herbie offers great photo opportunities standing through his sun roof.
Inside of Herbie, spot his girlfriend 'Newby' on the parcel shelf!
Katie & Joe, Nuneaton.
Due to Herbies age he is not equipped with rear seat belts. See FAQ's for information on Child seat laws.
Our Herbie is a 1963 Rag Top saloon the same year and model as the real Herbie. There aren't many replicas about that are the correct year.
Herbie is subject to an 65 mile radius from our base due to his age and less during the winter months.
Our Herbie doing what he does best, Rockingham race circuit 7th August 05
Here he is with Clare behind the wheel overtaking the splitty's and heading for the pace car! Of course he came in first ( and beat the pace car!)
Herbie can't wait to get away from our base and attend your wedding, steady on boy!
Paula having fun on her wedding day being driven in Herbie by her new husband!
IMPORTANT NOTE: Herbie is limited to a maximum 65 mile radius from base including all onward travel and unavailable during the winter. He has 6 volt lights which are not ideal for night driving, candles would be more suitable! In the winter months we do not use Herbie due to poor visibility and lack of heat. If Herbie has been hired and it is icy or thick fog or heavy rain for example on that day and we feel Herbie is not suitable and we will provide an alternative (heavier) car with 12 volt electrics for safety. Beetles are light on the front end especially with a rear engine and rear seat passengers so in ice we have to consider this. (This notice also applies to Pepi) Remember our cabriolets do have thick padded roofs and we don't drive with them down when it's cold! We may provide very local weddings during day light hours in the winter subject to good weather and visibility.
This is 'Max' before his total make over! Totally original, it took a while but it was worth it, he's a very cheery little Beetle now!

Adam & Ana had a fantastic display at their wedding, including Pepi as Herbie.

We will ensure that he's on his best behaviour but you know Herbie, he has a mind of his own.

A Clip from the Disney film Herbie goes to Montecarlo.
I'm not sure what he's up to here, well apart from about 8 foot.
These four photos of Herbie shown here are not our car.
